Things have been a little hectic around the Flanagan household as we await our third grandbaby! Who knew grandchildren could be so exciting?
If you missed our August meeting, you missed experiencing the lovely Heritage Park and Gardens here in Live Oak. We had Mike Grecian, Faber-Castell rep, as our speaker and he had lots of info and samples to share with us.
Our Next meeting is Nov. 8th and will be held at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center in Dunedin in Studio H. As usual, our Board Meeting will be at 11:00, lunch at noon with meeting starting at 1:00. Our program will be on framing, presented by Glenn Stevenson of Florida Frames.
Dues are due in November, both National and our chapter dues. I renewed mine on line and it was E-Z. And Betsy will take your cash or check for DC113 at the meeting.
Plans are being finalized for our next “It’s Colored Pencil” show in Orlando. Start getting that artwork ready! Also our winter retreat will be here in Live Oak for a change and is scheduled for the weekend of Jan. 23rd. Betsy should have some prices and info for us at the meeting. We’ve stayed at the Cervany Conference Center, aka Camp Weed, (no jokes!) before and had a great time. Still hoping for snow!
